Q. What time is check-in?
A. Check-in time is 3pm. Depending on occupancy, earlier check-ins may be permitted. Contact the front desk in advance to inquire.
Q. What time is check-out?
A. Check-out time is 10am. This gives us a 5 hour window to complete all the necessary preparations for our arriving guests.
Q. Are you pet-friendly?
A. At this time, we are not a pet-friendly accommodation. We do however recognize the need for service animals. Cottage #11 is allocated for this use. Please contact the front desk for information regarding our policies, and pet fees.
Q. Are there different cottage rates throughout the year?
A. Yes. We have 3 time periods within the Tourism season.
The Low season ($): Mid May - June 29th; day after Labour Day - mid October.
The Shoulder season ($$): June 30th - July 16th; August 22nd - Labour Day.
The High Season ($$$): Cavendish Country Music Festival Weekend; July 17th - August 21st
Q. What extra measures are you taking to reduce the spread of COVID 19?
A. Our business is complying with all the guidelines and restrictions of the province of PEI. To view a detailed list of specific actions taken by our business to reduce the spread of COVID 19, please go to the ABOUT US tab on the home page, and scroll to the bottom. You are also invited to contact our office through phone/email.
Q. Do you have Wifi?
A. Yes, we pay for the fastest and most efficient Wifi available in our area of PEI.
Q. Do I need to bring my own linens?
A. No. We supply sheets, duvets, towels, dish cloths, and pool towels. You may want to bring a beach towel though.
Q. What are the pool hours?
A. The pool is open June 15th - Sept 15th, from 9am to dusk.
Q. How far are you from Anne of Green Gables National Heritage Site?
A. 2 minutes by car. 25 minute walk.
Q. Can I have guests visit?
A. Yes. For safety and emergency reasons, please let the front desk know if you are planning on having visitors on the property. No guests are permitted during the Cavendish Beach Country Music Festival weekend.
Q. Do you have fire pits?
A. No. We are nestled in among the trees close to the National Park. We do not want any accidents to lead to a forest fire.
Q. Are there grocery stores nearby?
A. Cavendish has a Tourist Mart, Liquor Store, and Dollar Store where you can purchase most items. Charlottetown and Summerside are 30 mins away. They are the main shopping/business centers on the Island.
*If you'd like to place an online grocery order at Walmart, we can have a staff member pick it up for you (small fee). We will have it ready and waiting in your cottage for your arrival. This is especially helpful if you are arriving after 8p, as most stores and restaurants begin to close at this time.

Quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am. If there is a noise complaint, one warning will be issued; if there are further disturbances the occupants of the room will be asked to leave the property immediately. No refund will be given. Les heures calmes sont de 23h à 7h. S'il y a une plainte de bruit, un avertissement sera émis; S'il y a d'autres perturbations, les occupants de la chambre seront priés de quitter la propriété immédiatement. Aucun remboursement ne sera accordé.
Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the cottages, pool area, or activity centre. If a room is deemed to be smoked in, a $200 cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file. Des frais de nettoyage de 200 $ seront facturés sur la carte de crédit enregistrée si la chambre est considérée comme ayant été fumée.
Pets are not permitted in the cottages at any time. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file if pets are found to have been brought into the cottage. Les animaux domestiques ne sont pas autorisés dans les cottages à tout moment. Des frais de nettoyage de 200 $ seront facturés sur la carte de crédit figurant au dossier si des animaux de compagnie ont été trouvés dans la cottage.
Any theft, or damage to the cottage, activities centre, or pool area is the responsibility of the registered occupant. If theft or damage occurs, the cost to repair will be charged to the credit card on file. If the room requires excessive cleaning by staff, it will result in a $150 cleaning fee. Towels are not to be taken off of the premises. Littering is not permitted. Tout vol ou dommage à la cottage, centre d'activités ou piscine est la responsabilité de l'occupant enregistré. En cas de vol ou de dommage, les frais de réparation seront facturés sur la carte de crédit du dossier. Si la chambre nécessite un nettoyage excessif par le personnel, cela entraînera des frais de nettoyage de 150 $. Les serviettes ne doivent pas être retirées des lieux. Les déchets sont interdits.
All guests must be registered at the main office, otherwise a fee will be applied to the final bill. Tous les invités doivent être enregistrés au bureau principal, sinon des frais seront appliqués à la facture finale.
